Héma-Québec and GP3R Join Forces for a Major Blood Drive at Les Rivières Center on October 31 and November 1
TROIS-RIVIÈRES | MONDAY, OCTOBER 21, 2024 - The Grand Prix de Trois-Rivières and Héma-Québec invite you to participate in a major blood drive on October 31 and November 1, from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m., at the central mall of Les Rivières shopping center. Together, we aim for an ambitious goal of 450 donations to meet the growing needs of patients.
A BIG INCENTIVE: PASSES FOR THE POLAR RALLYCROSS TESTING ON JANUARY 23
In addition to saving lives, each donation will grant access to a pair of passes for the Thursday evening, January 23 event, where cars registered for the Polar Rallycross of Trois-Rivières will hold their first practice session on the ice circuit at Hippodrome 3R. This is your reward for your generous gesture! The only way to secure tickets for this unique evening is to contribute to the blood drive, either by donating or encouraging a loved one to do so if you are unable. You can still enjoy this special evening.
How to Prepare for Your Donation:
- Book an appointment now through a dedicated link on Héma-Québec's brand-new website: www.hemaquebec.ca/prendre-rendez-vous/grand-prix-trois-rivieres. Spots fill up quickly, so don't delay!
- No appointment? No problem! Just show up at Les Rivières Center during the collection hours. However, we cannot guarantee that you will be able to donate without an appointment.
Why Donate Now? Fall is a critical time for blood reserves. Vacation departures and seasonal changes can lead to a decrease in the number of donors. By donating your blood this autumn, you help ensure a sufficient supply to meet patient needs throughout the winter, especially during the crucial holiday period.
Trois-Rivières: A Generous City Trois-Rivières is known for its generosity. Each year, over 35 blood drives are organized in the region, collecting nearly 5,000 donations. Join this chain of solidarity!
