NEW DEVELOPMENTS ON THE GP3R BOARD OF DIRECTORS: RENEWED GOVERNANCE WITH CONTINUITY
TROIS-RIVIÈRES | MONDAY, MAY 26, 2025 – On the verge of its 55th edition, the Grand Prix de Trois-Rivières (GP3R) is announcing changes to the structure of its Board of Directors, blending experience and new leadership to boldly and steadily pursue its mission.
In office since 2005, Mr. Joël Saint-Pierre is entering his 20th year as GP3R President. To mark the occasion, he will now share this role with a pillar of the organization, Mr. Dany Cloutier—a long-standing board member, motorsport enthusiast, and former Vice-President of the Board. Together, the co-presidents will guide the strategic direction and ensure the continuity of the event.
“I’m deeply motivated and honored by the trust placed in me by my fellow board members to join Joël in this co-presidency,” said Mr. Cloutier. “I will strive to continue guiding our event according to its mission, vision, and values.”
Me Pierre Soucy, recently appointed to the judiciary, is stepping down from his role as Vice-President. He is succeeded by Me Nicolas Courcy, who will now serve as Vice-President alongside Mr. Michel Bronsard.
Mr. Luc Galvani will take over as Secretary of the Board, succeeding Mr. Bronsard. Mr. Janick Bigras has had his mandate as Treasurer renewed.
Additionally, Mr. Michel Cormier and Ms. Caroline Doucet and Ms. Jessica Ménard will continue their active involvement on the Board, contributing their expertise, experience, and passion to the ongoing success of GP3R.
The GP3R leadership has also taken the opportunity to review its strategic objectives and refocus its mission: to offer a diverse audience world-class motorsport events that reinforce GP3R’s position as a leader in sustainability, innovation, and accessibility, thanks to a skilled, dedicated, and passionate team.
The Board, staff, and volunteers of GP3R would like to thank Me Soucy for his twenty years of dedicated service as a Board member.
With this renewed leadership, the Grand Prix de Trois-Rivières reaffirms its commitment to a strong, representative, and inspired governance team that will continue to elevate the event both regionally and internationally.
