INNOVATIVE BEVERAGES AND INTERNATIONAL DISTRIBUTION ON THE MENU FOR GP3R'S NEW PARTNERSHIPS

Trois-Rivières, August 6, 2024 – The Grand Prix de Trois-Rivières has unveiled two major partnerships just three days before the first laps of its 54th edition. The first, with the Mauricie-based non-alcoholic ready-to-drink company encanette, aims to leverage the GP3R's fame and reach to introduce its products beyond the region. The other partnership, with the streaming network SpeedSport1, will allow GP3R to expand its recognition and reach far beyond the borders of Quebec.

“Encanette offers different, innovative, and tasty products that truly reflect the disruptive spirit of local entrepreneurs,” explains Dominic Fugère, general director of GP3R. “It is extremely rewarding that local businesspeople want to collaborate with us.”

For Dany Bergeron, president and CEO of encanette, the decision was obvious: “We are thrilled to partner with GP3R, an iconic event that shares our values of innovation and sustainability. Providing our non-alcoholic beverages in recyclable cans to GP3R participants is a fantastic opportunity to promote a healthy and environmentally-friendly lifestyle.”

Indeed, as its name suggests, encanette offers its mocktails in infinitely recyclable aluminum cans. This aligns perfectly with GP3R, which serves all its AB InBev beers, Pepsi soft drinks, XPN refreshers, and water in aluminum cans.

As for SpeedSport1, the digital offspring of the renowned National Speed Sport News magazine, its three-year alliance with GP3R means that all programming from the Trois-Rivières event will be broadcast worldwide through this platform, which is relayed by numerous online streaming services including AmazonPrime Freevee, PlutoTV, AppleTV, and Sports.TV.

GP3R will be featured alongside internationally renowned series such as the German DTM, the Ferrari Challenge, the 24 Hours of Nürburgring, and the Australian Supercars Championship, Repco.

“With a legacy celebrating 90 years of history next week, but a digital presence firmly focused on the future, SpeedSport1 will provide us with an exceptional vehicle to promote our activities – and those of our partners! – around the globe,” added Dominic Fugère. “Moreover, thanks to SpeedSport1, fans visiting us will be able to follow the action on their smart devices in both French and English, thanks to the two streams that will be broadcast.”

Every minute of on-track activity during the GP3R 2024 on August 9, 10, and 11 will be streamed on the SpeedSport1 platform. The sessions will then be preserved for posterity and available in the platform's archival system. This broadcasting alliance has been made possible thanks to the support of Economic Development Canada for the regions of Quebec.

Steve Hill to Close the Celestial Tribute to Trois-Rivières in Blues Presented by the Trois-Rivières Gaming Hall and Maurécon

Off the track, downtown, the pyromusical evening “Hommage Céleste à Trois-Rivières en blues,” presented on August 10 by the Trois-Rivières Gaming Hall and Maurécon, will also connect our region to the world. Steve Hill, the most renowned bluesman from Trois-Rivières internationally, has agreed to close the evening by taking the stage right after the fireworks show, which will celebrate the artists who have marked the 15 editions of Trois-Rivières en Blues. GB Démolition, OmniFab, Trois-Rivières Chevrolet, and Doucet+Turcotte Architects have also agreed to contribute to this evening filled with music and light, along with Mayor Jean Lamarche and councilors Maryse Bellemare, Jonathan Bradley, Daniel Cournoyer, Alain Lafontaine, and René Martin. A few tickets priced at $125 are still available for the Louisiana-inspired cocktail dinner served on the Turcotte Terrace during this grand evening.
