Held for the first time in 1967, the Grand Prix de Trois-Rivières has become one of the most important racing events to take place on an urban circuit in America.
Often called “Le Petit Monaca d’Amérique”, the Grand Prix offers, year after year, an exciting race program featuring a large variety of racing series.
Known all around the world, the Grand Prix de Trois-Rivières has become a major event in racing and helped to launch the career of some of the greatest Formula 1 drivers over the last 50 years.
The Grand Prix de Trois-Rivières stands out also by his unlimited access to paddocks, where public and teams come together, for the greatest pleasure of all. In addition to its road course program, the GP3R has been, since 2014, host of the Canadian round of the FIA World Rallycross Championship. A new CXE national rallycross category, the Cogeco AMA Supermoto and Formula Drift Canada have been an interesting addition to the GP3R.
